Fox Racing Launches New Sub-Label, Fox Lab, with Collaborative Collection by Kiko Kostadinov
Fox Racing, the iconic extreme sports brand known for its cutting-edge motocross gear, is breaking into the fashion world with its new sub-label, Fox Lab. The brand has teamed up with disruptive designers to create a collection that combines Fox Racing’s innovative products with the latest fashion trends. And who better to kick off this collaboration than Bulgarian visionary, Kiko Kostadinov.
The dynamic duo has created a 20-piece unisex capsule collection that pays homage to Fox Racing’s history, dating back to its early days as “Moto-X Fox.” This is when the brand first joined forces with up-and-coming riders to produce groundbreaking products and signature gear that have become synonymous with Fox Racing.
Kostadinov has put his own spin on the brand’s classic “Fox Head” motif, giving it a weathered and worn finish for a fresh-off-the-raceway look. The collection includes signature sweatshirts, long-sleeve jerseys, and trousers, all featuring subtle modifications to the iconic logo. Kostadinov also drew inspiration from Robert Altman’s 1977 film 3 Women, incorporating a curvilinear pattern reminiscent of the desert landscape into the Super-Fox Jersey.
The collection is showcased in a fantastical campaign shot by Jacolby Satterwhite, known for his expertise in virtual reality and digital media. Kostadinov enlisted Satterwhite to reimagine the collection through his unique artistic lens, resulting in a futuristic setting where human identity is redefined and consciousness is uploaded to a public domain, according to the brand.
The Kiko Kostadinov for Fox Lab collection will officially launch online and in Kostadinov’s stores on January 16. Get a sneak peek at the collection in the gallery above.
