Natasha Zinko’s Latest Collection: A Playful Take on Plastic Surgery Culture

Ukrainian designer Natasha Zinko is back with a bang, unveiling her highly anticipated follow-up to her Spring 2025 collection. But this time, she’s not just showcasing her signature apocalyptic energy – she’s also making a bold statement about society’s obsession with perfection and the pressure to conform to beauty standards through cosmetic surgery.

Zinko’s latest collection features a series of multi-layered outfits, a nod to the current craze for plastic surgery. Models are seen wrapped up from head to toe, not just to keep warm in the upcoming autumn weather, but also to represent the “after-care look” one might wear to hide any signs of cosmetic procedures.

The collection is all about loose-fitting silhouettes that still exude Zinko’s unique style, allowing for comfort and movement – especially important for post-op recovery. Silk scarves are draped over models’ eyes, adding to the mysterious and unpretentious vibe of the collection.

Box-cut looks dominate the pre-fall collection, with oversized blazers that combine the aesthetic of a lab coat with a hospital gown. T-shirt dresses with back ties also give off a medical vibe, while long scarves with glove-like fingers and front pockets on cotton shirts add a touch of whimsy.

But Zinko doesn’t stop there – she also includes ultra-wide leg denim jeans, relaxed-fit trousers, patchwork skirts and dresses, and business-like blazers in a muted color scheme. These pieces are perfect for a quick trip to the beauty clinic in the midst of a busy work day.

And let’s not forget Zinko’s signature boxer brief underpants, famously worn by stars like Charli XCX and BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim in the past. With this collection, Zinko continues to push boundaries and make a statement about society’s obsession with perfection and the lengths we will go to achieve it.
