Diving into the New Year: Ye’s Latest Works Include New Album Teaser, Music Video, and Footwear Unveiling
As we dive into the new year, Kanye West has wasted no time in releasing his latest projects. From a new album teaser to a music video featuring AI-generated visuals, Ye has been on a roll. And let’s not forget his recent shots at adidas and the successful launch of his $20 USD YZY SL-01 slip-on, which generated over $3 million USD in revenue in just one day.
But Ye isn’t done yet. He’s back with yet another footwear unveiling, this time presenting the YZY line’s new BL-01, also known as “The Bullys.” The preview showcases a chunky, unbranded sneaker with a mesh and nubuck upper and no lacing system. The all-black finish is a signature of Ye’s designs, and the shoe is completed with a sizable midsole and ripple outsole.
It’s unclear if Ye will be able to maintain the $20 USD price point with the BL-01, but fans are eagerly anticipating its release. While there is no official release date yet, it’s expected to drop on the YZY SPLY website sometime this year.
