Introducing the Vans Skate Old Skool 36+ by Carpet Company: A Bold and Colorful Collaboration
Release Date: 2025
Where to Buy: Carpet Company
Update: Carpet Company and Vans have joined forces once again to bring us a new and exciting collaboration. The Vans Skate Old Skool 36+ by Carpet Company has been unveiled and the official images are finally here, giving us a closer look at this clean and colorful sneaker.
The colorway of this collaboration pays tribute to the original yellow and black launch colorway of the Style 36, but with a twist. The sneaker features faux croc skin, connecting it to the scaly Fall 2024 Vans x Carpet Company drop. Limited to just 1,977 pairs, each shoe is individually numbered and comes with special details such as embroidered accents, custom Arabic labels, interchangeable Velcro tongue patches, and die-cut rubber logos on Vans’ iconic waffle tread.
But that’s not all, the collaboration also includes a small apparel capsule, featuring a Baggy Fit Fleece pullover and pants, as well as a branded Carpet bag.
Check out the official images in the gallery above and read on for more details about this exciting collaboration.
Original Story: Carpet Company and Vans have a long history of successful collaborations, with their most recent ones being the Vans Skate Cab 4 and Vans Skate Half Cab. And now, before the year comes to an end, the two have teamed up once again to bring us a new and unique take on the iconic Vans Old Skool 36.
The Vans Skate Old Skool 36+ by Carpet Company draws inspiration from Vans’ 1977 Style 36 model and is limited to just 1977 pairs. The sneaker features a white and yellow colorway, with a black form strip, a red co-branded insignia on the tongue, and a silver Carpet Company star on the side of the heel. The outsole is a yellowed off-white, with a yellow pull tab attached to the back. Each sneaker is individually numbered out of 1977 and has additional Carpet Company and Vans branding etched underneath the tongue.
