Japanese label Hollywood Ranch Market has teamed up with Yohji Yamamoto’s Wildside sub-label for a new capsule collection that is sure to turn heads. Inspired by the codes of French workwear and its Chinese influences, this collaboration is a must-have for any fashion-forward individual.
The collection features a classic French work jacket with Chinese knot-style buttons, combining traditional and streetwear sensibilities. Other details include a rounded collar, snap button cuffs, double waist pockets, and a widened placket with vertical stitching. The garment is made from Yamamoto’s signature TC cotton twill fabric, which is also used for the matching trousers. These trousers can be transformed into shorts by detaching the bottom halves of the legs, making them versatile and perfect for any occasion.
But that’s not all – the collection also includes two bags: a phone sling that can fit a personal cell and small items, and a larger book tote bag with a black-on-black graphic. And to complete the look, there is a long-sleeve t-shirt made of Stretch Fraise, Seilin & Co’s in-house fabric.
Customers can pre-order their selections online until January 9, and the full collection will be released on January 15 via both brand’s web stores. It will also be available in-store at Hollywood Ranch Market Tokyo and Wildside Yohji Yamamoto Osaka and Harajuku.
