Levi’s and BEAMS Team Up for Fifth Collaboration: Introducing the “SUPER WIDE COLLECTION”
Levi’s and BEAMS have joined forces once again for their fifth collaboration, this time focusing on the highly anticipated “SUPER WIDE COLLECTION” that was first released in 2021. The collection has gained popularity both regionally and internationally, and now the dynamic duo is back with a new set of denim in two different shades. The lineup includes a co-branded denim jacket, jeans, and a t-shirt, all featuring the iconic Levi’s and BEAMS logos.
The standout piece of the collection is the co-branded denim jacket, based on the LOT 506XX silhouette, also known as the “first model” for Levi’s. The denim jeans are based on the vintage 1950s 501XX silhouette, with a wide stretch detail for added comfort. The t-shirt comes in a classic black colorway, featuring the brands’ logos on the back.
The denim pieces in this collection are all about dark washes and black color schemes, giving off a cool and edgy vibe. But the campaign for this collaboration goes beyond just fashion. It focuses on the art of denim wear, with the pieces being modeled by everyday bonsai caretakers. Bonsai trees hold great significance in Japanese culture, representing values of patience and harmony. The “SUPER WIDE COLLECTION” will be available for pre-sale starting on January 2 at select Beams Japan stores, including Beams Japan, Beams Japan Shibuya, and Beams Japan Kyoto.
