Nike Celebrates 30 Years of Air Max 95 with Ultra-Clean “Grey Gradient” Colorway

Nike is gearing up to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the iconic Air Max 95 in 2025, and they’re doing it in style with a sleek new colorway. Dubbed the “Grey Gradient,” this shoe pays homage to the Sergio Lozano-designed sneaker’s anatomy-inspired upper paneling with a gradient colorblocking scheme that transitions from light to dark.

The first layer closest to the midsole features a light grey shade, while the shades gradually get darker as they move up towards the eyestays. The top overlay and mudguard are made of black suede, adding a touch of texture to the design. Other details include white eyestays, grey/white/black tongue badges, and a small white Swoosh near the heel. The midsole is a murky grey with opaque Air cushioning units.

As the Air Max 95 enters its fourth decade on the market, it’s experiencing a resurgence in popularity thanks to collaborations and the return of beloved colorways. The “Grey Gradient” may not have the same boldness as other models, but it’s a clean and classic addition to the Air Max 95 family. Look out for its release in early 2025 with a price tag of $175 USD.
