Degelis Pilla and Kymberly Byrnes launched their decidedly female-owned and operated company, TribeTokes after personally struggling to find high-quality, pure products on the market that met their clean criteria. Pilla and Byrnes were determined to offer other cannabis users what they wanted and couldn’t find for themselves. Years later, their motto to “never sell a product you wouldn’t give to your own mother or sister” remains the driving ethos behind all their hard work.

“We are an entirely women-owned, operated and funded team, including our manufacturing department,” Pilla shares. TribeTokes products are designed for women, by women. Cannabis hardware and accessories feature small aesthetic details that speak to the feminine sensibility while the products’ effects are tailored for experiences many women are seeking from cannabis.

Pilla and Byrnes never chase the latest trend or flashy products. Rather, TribeTokes caters to a specific clientele—the mature cannabis user who leans more towards the medicinal properties of consumption. This is reflected across their products, from gummies and vapes to pre-rolls. Today, we’re taking a closer look at TribeTokes pre-rolls—what’s in them, how they’re made and of course how they make you feel.

Each TribeTokes pre-roll is designed to deliver a specific effect, ranging from relaxation to euphoria. They currently have three offerings: Blue Dream, Tropicana Cherry and Jealousy.

A Clean Pre-Roll Experience

TribeTokes offers a premium selection of THCA-rich flower cultivated under stringent growing standards and quality compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill. Each product is derived from hemp and tested by third-party laboratories to ensure its compliance to federally mandated requirements. This is what makes it easily available online for purchase.

All plants are grown indoors using controlled environmental practices, with careful attention to the curing process and preservation of trichomes. Independent lab results are available for every batch, verifying cannabinoid content and confirming the absence of contaminants, including pesticides, mold and heavy metals. The founders, as they put it, are “extremely picky” with the farm they purchase the flowers from. Pilla and Byrnes sampled 15 different grow operations before settling on one in California. “We just try all of the strain options ourselves and launch our favorites,” Pilla says.

Ensuring the quality of the process is at the forefront of Pilla and Byrnes’ ethos. Through TrikeTokes, they deliver a completely clean and safe product that consumers know they can trust.

As more cannabis companies enter the market with a focus on clean products, Pilla and Byrnes are differentiating themselves with their consistent dedication to their cause. As early adopters of the clean cannabis movement, TribeTokes holds itself to a high standard and has built a strong reputation for being leaders in the space.
