Salehe Bembury is back at it again with the release of his second collaboration with New Balance, the “Fog Be The Cloud” colorway. This highly anticipated drop comes after the success of the initial September release.
The “Fog Be The Cloud” features a bold and vibrant multi-colored upper, with shades of teal, pink, and bright orange. The eye-catching upper sits atop a citrus-orange midsole, adding a pop of color to the shoe. A soft grey toe-cap at the forefoot provides a subtle contrast to the bright colors. And of course, Salehe’s signature emphasis on comfort and natural materials is evident with the inclusion of a cork insole.

There’s no stopping Salehe Bembury. The designer’s collaborations have been a huge success, and now he’s taking things to the next level with a mid-career retrospective book and his own footwear brand. But before these milestones, he’s got another exciting project in the works with New Balance.
In May, Bembury teased two versions of the New Balance 1000. We’ve already seen a preview of the teal “Fog Be The Cloud” pair, and now we’re getting a closer look at the pink and orange colorway. This version features a gradient design on the mixed material upper, transitioning from blue to pink and red. The midsole and lace loops are a vibrant orange, while off-white accents can be seen on the toe and tongue.
