AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® Takes Over South Korea with Launch of First Store at The Hyundai Seoul

In a major move towards global expansion, AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® has officially entered the South Korean market with the grand opening of its first store at The Hyundai Seoul. This strategic move coincides with the brand’s first collaboration with Seoul-based streetwear label NOMANUAL®, solidifying AAPE’s position as a leader in Korea’s vibrant fashion scene.

Revolutionary Retail Space in Seoul

The 800-square-foot store boasts a cutting-edge design concept that seamlessly blends industrial aesthetics with artistic craftsmanship. The focal point of the space is a striking wooden sculpture of “ALDO,” a member of AAPE’s AAPER family and the first-ever wooden interpretation of this iconic mascot. The store also features metal louvered screens adorned with wooden patchwork patterns, incorporating the brand’s signature MOON FACE logo and creating a dynamic contrast between raw and refined elements. The sophisticated atmosphere is completed with grey-toned flooring and cabinet accents, while the storefront proudly displays the iconic MOON FACE logo.

Exclusive Collection for Seoul

To celebrate its debut in Korea, AAPE has launched an exclusive capsule collection featuring hoodies, sweaters, and tees with graphics inspired by Seoul. The designs seamlessly blend traditional Korean elements, such as hanok architecture and kimbap motifs, with AAPE’s signature street style.

AAPE × NOMANUAL® Collaborative Collection

Simultaneously with the store opening, AAPE has also released a collaborative collection with NOMANUAL®, showcasing the fusion of both brands’ design philosophies. The collection includes down jackets, camo hoodies, distressed plaid shirts, layered long-sleeve tees, denim jeans, and statement accessories. The iconic tiger camo makes a comeback in new colorways, complemented by bold yellow co-branded graphics that add a high-impact contrast to classic streetwear silhouettes. Standout pieces include a black down jacket with dual zippers featuring NOMANUAL’s emblem and plaid shirts with raw-edge distressing. The collection also includes co-branded bandanas and belts with graphics inspired by human evolution. The AAPE × NOMANUAL® collection will be available at AAPE STORE and AAPESTORE.COM from November 13, 2025, including the new AAPE Store Seoul at The Hyundai Seoul B2F.
