Haider Ackermann Unveils Third Collection of ‘Snow Goose’ by Canada Goose for Fall/Winter 2025
Renowned designer Haider Ackermann has once again teamed up with Canada Goose to bring us the highly anticipated third collection of ‘Snow Goose’ for Fall/Winter 2025. This latest collection celebrates the resilience of life in the face of harsh winter conditions, featuring bold and unexpected colors such as “Mint Green,” “Ice Lavender,” and “Marine Earth Blue.”
Expedition in Churchill, Manitoba
In addition to the collection launch, Ackermann is taking things to the next level by hosting an expedition in Churchill, Manitoba. This exciting adventure is part of Canada Goose’s ongoing partnership with Polar Bears International (PBI), an organization dedicated to protecting polar bears and their Arctic habitat.
From Tom Ford to Canada Goose
Not only is Ackermann the creative director for Tom Ford, but he also holds the title of first-ever creative director for Canada Goose since 2024. As part of this role, the Colombian-born French designer has been creating winter capsule collections under the “Snow Goose” label. And now, we get to see the third iteration of this collaboration.
Challenging the Norm
The Fall/Winter 2025 Snow Goose collection challenges the idea that spring tones should only be reserved for warmer months. Ackermann has intentionally mixed vibrant colors like “Mint Green,” “Ice Lavender,” and “Marine Earth Blue” with more grounding “Browns” and “Blacks.” According to the designer, “Winter is often imagined as a season of silence, but I wanted this collection to capture the pulse of life in the cold.”
Campaign Assets
The campaign assets for this collection, shot by Tim Elkaïm, feature a star-studded cast including Willie Nelson, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Tasha Tilberg, Stevie Sims, Xiaowen Ju, and Connor Newall. The images showcase the models seemingly awakened by a gust of wind, showcasing the outerwear and headwear against a bright white backdrop. This direction was chosen to embody a sense of “resilience and quiet optimism,” according to the press release.
Physical Pieces
The physical pieces in this collection are just as impressive as the campaign assets. Standouts include the heavy-duty Thalix Parka, the lightweight Shift Anorak, and the Weld Jacket. For a fully reflective look, check out the Merge Jacket and Pant set. And don’t miss the Rigel Heavyweight Hoodie, which proudly displays the collection’s core message, “The Earth Needs All the Friends It Can Get.”
Love Letter to the Land
Ackermann’s commitment to helping the natural world is evident in this collection and beyond. As a love letter to the land that defines Canada Goose, the designer is hosting a four-day expedition in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada, for a select group to witness the annual November gathering of polar bears along the Hudson Bay.
Global Launch
The Fall/Winter 2025 ‘Snow Goose’ by Canada Goose capsule will launch globally with early online access from November 13–17 on the Canada Goose website and in select stores. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this exciting and meaningful collaboration.
