Aramis: The Iconic Men’s Fragrance Gets a Modern Makeover with Intuition

In 1963, Estée Lauder introduced Aramis, the first men’s fragrance in their line. It quickly became a symbol of masculinity and sophistication, representing the prestigious scent of a well-groomed man. Now, over 50 years later, Aramis is being reimagined for a new generation with the launch of Intuition, the latest addition to the heritage line. And who better to represent this modern take on a classic scent than basketball legend, fashion icon, and philanthropist Dwyane Wade, who has been named the global ambassador for Intuition.

Street Scents: Taking Intuition to the Streets of NYC

To showcase the influence of Intuition, we enlisted the help of founder and creative Saeed Ferguson to host the latest edition of Street Scents. Armed with samples of Intuition, Ferguson hit the streets of New York City to get the opinions of strangers. He asked them about the notes they could detect, how they would style the fragrance, and how they would incorporate it into their daily routines.

Some participants were able to pick out the base notes of citrus, leather, and lavender, while others humorously described it as smelling like “opulence.” When asked where they would wear the fragrance, many said it would be perfect for a night out or a date, but also versatile enough for everyday wear. Some even shared memories of older family members wearing the original Aramis fragrance, showing how it has been reinvented for a new generation.

A Modern Twist on a Classic Scent

In addition to its new influence, Intuition by Aramis also features a luxurious ombre dark blue glass bottle with a tortoise-shell inspired cap. This modern design gives a fresh interpretation of the classic Aramis cologne, perfect for the modern man. You can find Intuition by Aramis at Ulta, Macy’s, and department stores nationwide. Be sure to check out Aramis’ social media pages for more information on this exciting relaunch.
