Puma has once again teamed up with Japanese designer Fumito Ganryu for their latest collaboration, the Fumito Ganryu x Puma Mostro XC. This dynamic duo has reimagined the iconic Mostro XC silhouette, resulting in two striking new designs that are sure to turn heads.
The collaboration’s central theme is duality, which is perfectly captured in a campaign film featuring actor Masaru Kasamatsu. The film tells a story of youthful rebellion and mature control, highlighting the tension between impulse and control, and movement and stillness.
Both Mostro XC models are presented in a sleek monochromatic triple black colorway, adding to the overall edgy aesthetic. The Mostro XC 3D boasts an extreme platform sole crafted using ALIVEFORM 3D printing technology, giving it an eye-catching stack height. The upper is also adorned with a unique stippled design, complementing the spiked outsole.
On the other hand, the Mostro XC stays true to its original silhouette, with a few key transformations. These include a pull closure and a tight mesh upper, giving it a sleek and low-profile appearance.
