Rick Owens Unleashes “Temple” Collection for Spring/Summer 2026
Breaking boundaries and blurring the lines between menswear and womenswear, Rick Owens unveiled his highly-anticipated “Temple” collection for Spring/Summer 2026. The show, which coincided with his Palais Galliera retrospective titled “Temple of Love,” showcased Owens’ signature blend of glamour and grit.
Set against the backdrop of Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashion Week, the collection channeled European cultural influences through Owens’ unique brand of “American bluntness.” The show notes warned of “tough clothes for tough times,” as models stormed fountains and waded through water, embodying the spirit of a fractured world.
The 45 looks featured Owens’ trademark dark signatures, including mesh-wrapped tops, leather trousers, and Kiss heels. Sheer dresses with chest cutouts, warped shoulder inserts, and sequined nylon tulle added to the edgy aesthetic. Shaggy cover-ups were juxtaposed with puffed gowns and sleek leather jackets, before the finale look featuring Owens’ hand-drawn birth chart sealed the collection’s mythological theme.
