Palace Unveils Exclusive Collection for New Fukuoka Flagship Store
Palace Skateboards is set to open its third flagship store in Japan, and to celebrate, the brand has released a collection that pays homage to the city of Fukuoka. The collection features a redesigned Tri-Ferg logo with “Fukuoka” katakana and a “FUK U OK A” emblem, as well as references to the Amaou strawberry, a beloved fruit exclusive to the prefecture.
Branding-Heavy Range Redesigns Palace’s Iconic Tri-Ferg Insignia
The collection includes a variety of pieces, such as short-sleeve and long-sleeve T-shirts, jackets, bottoms, and accessories. The standout feature of the range is the redesigned Tri-Ferg logo, which now incorporates the katakana characters for “Fukuoka.” This logo can be found on a blue, white, and red track jacket and matching track pants, as well as on long-sleeve T-shirts in black and red or gray and blue. A keychain also features the emblem.
Playful “FUK U OK A” Logo Makes an Appearance
In addition to the “Fukuoka” logo, Palace has also debuted a reimagined “FUK U OK A” emblem on items like a black double-sided scarf, skate deck, pin, trucker hat, and short-sleeve T-shirt. This playful logo adds a cheeky touch to the collection.
Pay Homage to Fukuoka’s Amaou Strawberry
The collection also features references to the Amaou strawberry, a sweet and sizable fruit that is exclusive to Fukuoka. The classic Tri-Ferg icon is placed against a strawberry skin background on a selection of short-sleeve T-shirts, while the black varsity jacket features a strawberry heart on the back with Palace branding and the Japanese phrase “From England with love.” The front of the jacket also includes an embroidered Palace logo and “FUK U OK A” design.
