A Day’s March and Jan Håfström Team Up for a Streetwear Capsule Collection

Swedish clothing brand A Day’s March has joined forces with renowned artist Jan Håfström for a second time to create a streetwear-inspired capsule collection. The collection, available now at A Day’s March flagship store in Stockholm and online, draws inspiration from Håfström’s painting Skogen (The Forest).

From Paintings to Wearable Art

With over 50 years of experience, Jan Håfström has explored various mediums in his art practice, including abstract paintings, sculptures, and films. Now, his work is taking on a new form as he collaborates with A Day’s March to create a wearable collection.

A Focus on Skogen

While their first collaboration centered on Håfström’s alter ego, Mr. Walker, this capsule collection is centered around one of his key paintings, Skogen (The Forest). The painting, currently on display at Moderna Museet in Stockholm, features a forest scene with vibrant tree forms and rich, textural flora.

Bringing the Outdoors to Life

The collection includes limited-edition garments and objects that interpret the abstract foliage pattern from Skogen. The Foliage Mohair Cardigan and Foliage Cotton Silk Scarf use 100% mohair and a silk/cotton blend to bring the painting to life in a tactile way. The collection also features a Realtree-style camouflage pattern, printed on sand-colored pieces like the Realtree Overshirt, Trousers, and Tote Bag.

More Inspiration from the Outdoors

Other items in the collection, such as the Skogen Long Sleeve T-shirt, T-shirt, Tote Bag, and Silk Cotton Scarf, also draw inspiration from the outdoors. The collection also includes a Skogen Scented Candle, inspired by the scent of the forest, and a Skogen Plaid Wool Throw. For a unique touch, a limited number of hand-forged forest axes from Gränsfors Bruk, finished by the artist, are also available.

Get Your Hands on the Collection

The full collection is available exclusively at A Day’s March flagship store in Stockholm and online at the brand’s website. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of wearable art from this exciting collaboration.
