Aaron Esh Returns to London Fashion Week with a Bang
After taking a break last season to focus on creating a stunning line of silk gowns for women, designer Aaron Esh has made a triumphant return to the London Fashion Week schedule. This time, he’s bringing his A-game to menswear for SS26.
Closing out the third day of London Fashion Week at the trendy Oval Space in Hackney, Esh wowed the audience with a collection that perfectly captured the essence of London style. Classic yet elevated, the pieces were a perfect representation of the city’s fashion scene.
The collection’s standout pieces were the jackets, which were a mix of wardrobe staples and statement pieces. From suede trench coats to feathered overcoats, each piece struck the perfect balance between wearability and aspirational fashion. But it was the double-breasted tailoring that truly stole the show, showcasing Esh’s dedication to craftsmanship. Made by Savile Row tailor Charlie Allen in Highbury, the custom suits exuded precision, polish, and a sense of timeless elegance.
Aside from the impeccable tailoring, the collection also featured tuxedo trousers, satin-trimmed tracksuits, military shirts with covered buttons, and a few silk jersey dresses and skirts. But what really brought the looks to life was the styling. Collaborating with renowned stylist Katy England, Esh infused the collection with a distinct London attitude. Think caps paired with formalwear, crisp shirts tucked into distressed jeans, and scarves casually draped over shoulders. These subtle yet powerful choices added a lived-in feel to the collection while still maintaining a premium aesthetic.
In the words of fashion journalist Osman Ahmed, this collection is all about making the young feel grown-up and ready to take on the chaos of the world, while also making the grown-ups feel young again without appearing desperate. It’s a collection that appeals to all ages and exudes confidence and sophistication.
