The Air Max RK61 features a hybrid structure, with an Air Max Sunder-inspired zip-up upper in two colorways: “Coconut Milk” and “Black”. But it’s not just about the design – this shoe also incorporates subtle nods to aviation, such as a zipper pull with the Air Afrique logo, a jacquard sockliner inspired by vintage aircraft seats, and morse code detailing on the outsole that spells out “Air Afrique”. The name “RK61” is a tribute to Air Afrique’s original flight code and founding year.
