Colombian Reggaeton Star J Balvin and Partner Valentina Ferrer Named Faces of Willy Chavarria’s Fall/Winter 2024 Collection
Latin music sensation J Balvin and his partner, Argentinian model and actress Valentina Ferrer, have been serving as muses for Willy Chavarria’s label for almost a decade. Chavarria’s brand is dedicated to celebrating Latin art, culture, and heritage, and the couple has been a perfect fit for his vision.
At the 2023 Latin American Fashion Awards, Balvin was honored with the prestigious Latin Fashion Icon of the Year Award while wearing Willy Chavarria. The couple also attended the BoF 500 Gala in September of this year with Chavarria, and they reunited with the designer last month for the 2024 CFDA Awards, where Chavarria was once again recognized as the Menswear Designer of the Year.
It was only natural for the trio to come together in Paris for an intimate photo shoot to launch Chavarria’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, with Balvin and Ferrer officially becoming the faces of the brand. Captured by photographer Diego Bendez, the images feature the couple and Chavarria himself wearing pieces from the designer’s latest collection, as well as custom designs from his New York-based atelier.
“Jose and Valentina embody a modern passion for each other, for family, and for life,” Chavarria stated. “I find this very inspiring. They are loving individuals who have made a powerful impact on culture while staying true to their Latino values.”
