The Fashion Awards 2025: Celebrating the Best in Global and British Fashion
The fashion world is buzzing with excitement as the British Fashion Council announces the nominees for the highly anticipated Fashion Awards 2025. This year’s ceremony, set to take place on December 1 at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London, will honor the top talents in the industry and introduce a new award for rising stars.
Designer of the Year: A Battle of Fashion Titans
The coveted Designer of the Year award will see some of the biggest names in the industry go head-to-head. Jonathan Anderson, known for his work at Dior and his own label JW Anderson, is among the nominees. Miuccia Prada, the mastermind behind Miu Miu, is also recognized for her excellence. And let’s not forget about the subversive voices of fashion, including American designers Rick Owens and Willy Chavarria. British menswear designer Martine Rose is the only English brand on the list, while visionary Glenn Martens is nominated for his work at Diesel and Maison Margiela.
Celebrating British Talent
The Fashion Awards also shine a spotlight on homegrown British designers. The British Menswear Designer of the Year category features industry favorites like Craig Green, Grace Wales Bonner, and Kiko Kostadinov. And for the first time, the BFC will present the Vanguard Award, honoring rising stars such as Aaron Esh and Dilara Fındıkoğlu. In addition, Italian icon Brunello Cucinelli will receive the Outstanding Achievement Award for his commitment to sustainable luxury.
