For the Air unit, the key was replicating the feeling of walking on air as best as possible. This is accomplished thanks to the contoured Air unit, which is both flexible and low to the ground by design. Point-loaded Air distribution ensures it’s only present where needed. As a result, negative space is present, creating unique geometry for the tooling and a lighter build.As for the upper, its futuristic mesh upper features a three-layer textured printing that not only adds visual depth, but provides support as well. This tactile component nods to the poison dart frog via its nanoprint. The dangerous amphibian is known to use color as a warning system, which is conveyed through the intricate pattern.
