LABRUM and John Lewis Team Up for a Must-Have Collection

Get ready to elevate your wardrobe with the highly anticipated collaboration between LABRUM and John Lewis. The 38-piece collection, set to launch on October 21, combines LABRUM’s West African-inspired streetwear with John Lewis’ seasonal classics, co-designed by the retailer’s in-house team.

LABRUM, led by founder Foday Dumbuya, has a history of powerful storytelling and successful collaborations. From abstract furniture with Guinness to a Tupac-inspired capsule with the Shakur Estate, and even designing the official kit for Sierra Leone’s National Olympic Committee with adidas, the brand continues to bridge the gap between Western society and African culture.

Most recently, LABRUM made waves at London Fashion Week with a theatrical runway experience at Central Hall Westminster. And now, the brand is taking its collaborative spirit to the next level with a partnership with British retailer John Lewis.

Earlier this year, John Lewis announced plans to revamp its fashion offerings, featuring a mix of luxury heritage labels and emerging brands. The John Lewis x LABRUM London collection perfectly blends LABRUM’s signature West African x London streetwear aesthetic with John Lewis’ seasonal wardrobe staples.

Working closely with the retailer’s in-house design team, Dumbuya has created a visually rich and high-quality collection that still maintains commercial appeal. One of the standout features of the collection is its focus on textile variation, with pieces crafted from luxurious materials like lambswool, cotton-merino-cashmere blends, and leather.

The collection also features LABRUM’s signature Nomoli logo and intricate jacquard weaving for added detail. But don’t worry, the clean and minimalist fit ensures that these pieces are perfect for everyday wear. And with an autumnal color palette of inky navy, warm browns, mustard yellow, burnt orange, and soft neutrals, there’s something for everyone.

The John Lewis x LABRUM London collection will be available on October 21 at five John Lewis stores and online on the brand’s website. Don’t miss your chance to snag these must-have pieces and elevate your wardrobe to the next level.
