Todd Snyder Takes Fashion Week by Storm with “La Buena Vida” Collection

At his company’s New York headquarters on Saturday afternoon, designer Todd Snyder welcomed fashion week’s showgoers to “La Buena Vida” – Spanish for “The Good Life.” The Spring 2026 collection is a design manifesto that channels the relaxed and stylish wardrobe of a Havana man on vacation.

“This collection is more than just a destination, it’s a state of mind,” Snyder explained. “It’s the faded glamour of Havana in the 1950s mixed with the swagger of a man in a linen suit stepping off a seaplane in 1980s Miami.” Snyder was inspired by his recent trip to Havana with his family, and he brought that inspiration to life in 44 looks on the runway.

The collection featured sueded linen jackets, slouchy formalwear sets, high-waisted Hollywood pants, and silky suiting statements. Wide patterned ties, a nod to 1950s mid-century style and 1980s suiting, were a prominent design element, while Flamenco dots and vintage umbrella-inspired stripes added a touch of relaxation to the lounge shirts. The models strutted down the runway in soft loafers and fisherman sandals, embodying the leisurely vibe of the collection.

For those with a keen eye, Snyder’s new Timex collaborations were on full display. The collection includes a re-issue of a 1976 model and a refreshed version of the classic Marlin timepiece, both of which were spotted on the models’ wrists.

“There’s a push-pull dynamic in the clothing, between the structure of the tailoring and the soft sensuality of the silhouettes,” Snyder added. The collection is a perfect blend of sophistication and ease, capturing the essence of “La Buena Vida.” Check out the gallery above to see Todd Snyder’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection in all its glory.
