Phrases like “We Won’t Move” and “Freedom Now” are featured, along with a powerful reminder to “Don’t buy where you can’t work,” echoing the consumer boycotts of the era. This message is especially relevant in today’s climate, as retailers face backlash for scaling back on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
