The retro silhouette, originally released in 2001, has been officially revealed in a bold and vibrant “Black/Bright Citrus” colorway, which we gave you a sneak peek of earlier. This time around, the shoe will be available in women’s sizes.
While an exact release date has yet to be announced, sources say that the Air Max Craze will hit shelves this season and will be available for purchase on Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $170 USD. And that’s not all – there are rumors of even more colorways dropping in the near future.
Original Story: Nike has a treasure trove of retro sneakers, and it’s no surprise that they continue to bring back fan-favorite models year after year. After the successful return of the Air Max Sunder last year, it’s now time for the Air Max Craze to make its comeback. You may remember the rumors of a potential collaboration with designer Martine Rose last October, but while we wait for more information on that, Nike has officially confirmed the return of the Air Max Craze during their December SNKRS Showcase.
The “Black/Bright Citrus” colorway was featured during the livestream and it’s safe to say that it did not disappoint. The unique runner features bold orange accents on a sleek black base, with a neoprene upper and a zipper system similar to the Air Max Sunder. The minimal heel design provides just the right amount of padding where it’s needed.
As of now, we’re still waiting for an official release date from Nike, but sources say that the Air Max Craze is expected to drop this spring in women’s sizing.
